Reading "No Dominion" before "Already Dead"?

Nope. :)
You'll enjoy it better, understand it better... Instead of keeping notes, or backtracking your memories from the books, trying to shuffle what you knew from book 2 to its proper place once you read 1.
I'm on book 5... It'd be all mixed up in my head if I'd read them out of order, even one!
They're pretty good, I admit to being surprised by how much I'm liking this series ;)

Apologies if this ends up being a double post. I started this discussion several hours ago, but I can't find the topic anywhere. Either I'm doing something wrong or the first topic didn't register.
Anyway, I have a quick question regarding Charlie Huston's No Dominion. I just started reading No Dominion and I didn't even know it was a part of a series. It turned out that the Joe Pitt's adventures have a first part called Already Dead. Now, unfortunately, I don't have Already Dead. So I was just wondering - are these two books closely linked, or can I read No Dominion first? Will I miss out on some of the details? Thanks in advance!
