Mink | 4 comments I'm noticing that there's a bunch of talk about Lilith Saintcrow's series. I’m looking for a new series to start (now that I’m pretty much finished with the BDB, Dark-Hunter Series, etc) and I’m wondering if there’s a particular reading order for her series. For instance, sometimes one series has a break-off of characters and begins a whole new series. Any thoughts/suggestions on her different series of books? Also if anyone wants to give a little info on ‘witch’ series they liked the best, that would be good to know (lol). Thanks in advance....The series I've found:
Jill Kismet Series
Dante Valentine Series
Watcher Series

Jess | 173 comments I have only read the Dante Valentine series, I tried to find the Watcher series and it's proving difficult. I have the first Jill Kismet book on hold for me.

Dante Valentine series was great, but it is already ended, so if you want to read the series you should probably get all 5 books at once, because it was annoying for me to have to have a few days in between the time I finished one and was waiting for another. But I also have no patience!

Linn (sharpt33th) Personally, I recommend the Dante Valentine series. While I haven't finished it, it's the one that caught my attention the most. Then again, I have quite a soft spot for demons, and the name Dante.

However, even if you don't choose to read it first, I still recommend adding it to your to-read first for a later date. :)

Jean Valjean (OG 2010) (courfeyrack) I need to read this! I downloaded all of the ebooks a while back, and I always forget about them. My to-read list is huge. -_-

Melinda (disney4me) | 23 comments I really enjoyed the Dante Valentine series. I also enjoyed the Jill Kismet books. I haven't gotten into the Watcher series, yet.

Both Dante and Jill are great reads and moves fast, lots of action, sexual tension, etc. They are some of my favorites.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Lily (lilithesque) | 217 comments I started with the Dante Valentine series and fell in love.

It is hard core UF or even Dystopian fantasy. If you like PNR better I would go with the Watcher series. The Kismet series is a smoother read, because she is an evolving author and techneque/smooth writing is improving, but valentine world is so vivid and deep it is a favorite of mine. I do love Jill Kismet though.

Keep in mind, some of the series are about the same world in different times.

Now I very much enjoy the YA series Strange Angels, its great too, so if you like YA its a good choice.

Well, I so didnt' answer your question, but had fun trying.

Melissa I read the Dante Valentine series first. I then read the first four of the Watchers series and loved them. However, I think if I wasn't already a fan of the author, I would have been disappointed in the short, but sweet Watcher books. I can't seem to get my hands on the last book in that series without over paying. I think the Strange Angels series makes a great addition to all the YA paranormals out there, too.

Melanie (audiobookmel) I have wanted to try the Dante series, but my library does not have it. Debating about whether or not to purchase.

Melissa I own them and have read them all twice, if that helps. She is a must buy author for me!
