....one which I'm bound to end up losing.

I've tried to add my novel to the Goodreads list and I'm not sure whether it's actually worked.

Book in question is Some Place South of Perfect and I would appreciate some assistance.

I've clicked on the link for Andrew Byrne and I see what you mean. Just one of those is mine - Some Place South of Perfect. As I mentioned, technology and me aren't always on speaking terms.

OK your author profile is now Andrew^^Byrne (where^=space) any more books will need to be added with the author as above. It is better for you to have ^^ in your name which will stop incorrect books importing on to your profile.
