Rob (founddrama) | 3 comments I'm bummed that (apparently) the only method available for quotes is 'create'. I was hoping to be able to whip something up today with a 'list' but alas it's not there.

Tim G | 1 comments I'm sure everyone at Goodreads is busy what with the recent Amazon acquisition, but just curious if there are any plans for a getting-quotes API? I'd like to display random quotes from a certain author, and I'd rather not just scrape the page if I don't need to. There have been outstanding requests for this since 2011, FWIW...

Michael Economy (michaeleconomy) Someday we may add this, it's not a huge priority for us unfortunately.

Dulshani | 2 comments Hi!
Was wondering about the status of this one. I'd love to be able to get a list of my favourite quotes and display them randomly on my website.
Thanks!

There is no way to do this with our current API unfortunately.

Crates Media (cr8s) | 4 comments A working API to pull quotes has been a frequently-requested feature for over a decade, now. Come on, guys. Please add this simple feature. It's not even especially difficult to implement.
