Virtually (virtual) Bookclub discussion

With technology evolving books can be read electronically now. We can also listen to books to get an ultimate experience so which do you like best and why?

I prefer Audio books and normal books. Mostly because with Audio books I like to hear their voices and I can listen while I do school work etc. I also like normal books because of the feel, smell and the look. Especially if it is a brand new book.

So what's your opinion.

I love the old fashion books. I love being able to see how much I've read and also the smell. I hate staring at a brightly lit screen. Being a hopeful future writer I want my books to stay where they belong on paper, on shelfs. I do have one audio book but I have yet to listen to it.

Books will always be my favorite but i do listen to audiobooks and read ebooks too

I usually like audio books when I am in a girlish mood but in a book mood too so I can just listen to an audio book whilst painting my nails or straightening my hair or doing something girly like that

In fact I did it this afternoon. I bought an audio book copy of *The clockwork prince* and listened to it whilst i did things I don't usually do. Oh and every now and then i squealed or cried at certain happy/ emotional parts in the story

I totally prefer normal books. I love to hold them and smell them.

I like E-Books, because you don't have to worry about loosing your spot. Plus, you don't to move if you want to turn the page...Well I don't.
If it's a favorite author or last book in a favorite series, I'll want the book because I want to be able to look at the cover and actually flip real pages.

I wrote an article about this for my school's newspaper, and while at first I liked real books a lot better (I still do) I can see the good things about audiobooks and e-books better now. I was pretty biased since I'm such a bookworm, and I still enjoy reading from a book better than anything else, but I can see the good sides of all the kinds of books.
