Luke Dyess Any like this book?

Rebecca dunagan i personaly love this book.

Alicia Smith-Turley Loved it! I'm a sucker for a book that shows imagination AND a real love for actual books!

Stephanie Yeah, I love this book! (Well, not so much this one, more of the other two) It's just raw imagination, and it was beautifully written.

Jules I thought it was very elegant! The series on the whole very well woven. I agree that as the second book it wasn't quite up to the other two, but I definitely enjoyed it. I had twenty pages left in it when I ran to the bookstore for the next book. I love the series!

Sonia Jarmula I loved it, I didn't feel bored in the slightest. Cornelia Funke has a gift.

Natalie I liked this one best in the series. Inkheart was okay and Inkdeath bored me to tears, but I really liked this one.

Elizabeth Baxter I totally loved this book. In fact, I loved the whole series and only wish it really was possible to walk into books. How cool would that be? I think I'd visit Middle Earth first, then perhaps Hogwarts, then take a quick tour of Narnia.

Kristin I've read this book twice, because the series is one of my all-time favourites. The first time I read it, I didn't like it very much, I thought there were too little action, and it bored me. But then I came back to it, and I really loved it. There's so much fantasy and imagination in it, so much longing and goodness. And also, I think Dustfinger is an amazing character, and I really loved following him in this book.

Rebecca dunagan i am adding to my last responce, i am a HUGE fan of funke. she is an amazing author, who has a ...vivid?..imagination.the inkbooks are some of my childhood favorites, becouse i fell in love the first time to a book charecter...Dustfinger, he is, and always will be, my 1st book love!!

I think you should.

I think you should too! While it's my least favorite of the series (Inkheart is my favorite, but I liked Inkspell as well), I still like it, and I think that all the loose ends get tied up really well- the trilogy as a whole is really well-done. Especially if you liked the first two, you should give it a shot!

Emma I read the first and saw the movie. In my opinion the book is WAY better than the movie. isn't it always though?

Inkspell is a beautifully-written book. The words are tangible enough for you to see a crystal clear picture, each intricately woven to form a perfect sentence.

Of course, the infatuation Meggie develops for Farid is extremely gripping. I could actually see her looking at the moon with a dreamy expression, obviously thinking of Farid. Growing up is a nice subject included in Inkspell, referring to the strong infatuation. Reading this when I was in 4th grade (I'm going to go to 7th grade now) was exciting. I was always a bookworm, always looking for the perfect book to curl up with after finishing my other work. Every time I would find a book suitable to my taste, I would finish immediately (mostly taking 1-3 days), but not satisfied for my hunger. Especially those books that won't continue is what doesn't satisfy me. I always would think, What would happen next? The Inkheart trilogy fixed that for me. With each continuation reaching its culmination in Inkdeath,I was satisfied. Readers who haven't read this trilogy yet, you better mark this trilogy for to-read. Thank you.

Amy I just finished this and LOVED it! It did take me a little longer to read than the first one, but I think that was just b/c I did not have time to stop and just read, so I was reading parts of a chapter at a time. I can not wait to get the last book, but I will be sorry to see it all end.

Steph Bored me to death
could barely get through it

message 17: by Leah (new) - rated it 3 stars

Leah It scared me a bit.

message 18: by Emma (new) - rated it 4 stars

Emma I absolutely loved these books! Such a brilliant idea, I'm surprised it hasn't been written years ago! It would be so cool to walk into your favourite books! I didn't feel as if the film did it any justice though really, which was a little disappointing, but shows most of the time, books are so much better than the films! :)

This book and everyone in the series is amazing. Although the second one was good it was a tad slower than the rest. I know it is hard to make good movies from great books, but I wish the movie was a little better than it turned out to be.

Incitanemxx it is my favourite out of the trilogy :)

Justine saulnier I LOVED ALL THE BOOKS MY L.J.Smith shes awesome love the books so much<3

Justine saulnier by sorry lolz

Kristina This is actually one of my all time favorite books. This book is the epitome of what true story-telling should be like. Funke's imagination and writing style weaves an absolutely beautiful story. The characters are wonderfully developed and the interactions between the characters are realistic. Overall, a five-star book!

message 24: by Keri (new) - rated it 5 stars

Keri Loved it. I was a bit bored with Inkheart and I almost didn't continue the series but I am glad I did because I adored Inkspell and Inkdeath as well.

message 25: by Lani (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lani I liked this book.

Kathy It was a good book. Definitely worth reading.

Terri I loved all of the books: "Inkheart", "Inkspell", "Inkdeath"

Thariena I really liked the inkheart trilogie. It's stands really high on my favortite list.
I really liked the characters and the world that they created in the book. It was very fun and creative.

Julia Love this book!!! My favorite is Inkheart. Cornelia Funke is one Of my favorite authors. Her writing seems to take you on magical adventures with her amazing characters. Fans of this book should also read the book called the Theif Lord.

Totally loved this book!I have the whole series, I've read the first one like 5 times, this one about 3 and i think I've only read Inkdeath once...but anyways. This is just plain awesomeness...I mean...a series of books...about books?? YES!

Tonya I really enjoyed every book in this trilogy. I read it about four years ago and I'm ready to read them again. It's worth a read if you haven't read it before. I didn't get bored reading them.

message 33: by Cat (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cat I loved this book! I preferred InkHeart, and I didn't like InkDeath all that much but this was still great. Meggie actually get's some adventuring in!

Alyssa I love this! And I'm only 12 years old!

message 35: by Meryl (new) - rated it 1 star

Meryl Only the first book in the trilogy had my undivided attention. 'Inkspell' and 'Inkdeath' were simply a test of my patience. After reading (or rather flipping through) the last two books, I decided to stop reading Funke's books.

message 36: by Alyssa (new) - added it

Alyssa I liked it! Why don't you?

Justine saulnier I loved these books one of the best series I've read so far.

Justine saulnier All three were awesome :-)

Smily I really can't say that I liked this book too much. I had to force myself through this and the last one; the characters were simply too flat and the pace was much too slow. However, the idea (reading things from and into books) was interesting.

brooke1994 I enjoy it.

Bethany Spicer its better than the first

Rebecca I READ THIS YEARS AGO AND LOVED IT BUT I HAVE Never finished reading the series. I liked the movie too.

Occhiiki I started on the second book and it was the only book I liked in the series. I never read Inkheart, only watched it, and Dustfinger was so hot. I asked Inkdeath for my birthday but I got bored so I stopped reading it.

message 45: by Alyssa (new) - added it

Alyssa See! Every one likes them Why don't you?

David Parker I read it to my two children and we loved it.

Meggie Folchart i really love this book and the other two in the trilogy

Natalia Yes, I do. I love this book. In fact, it's one of my favorite trilogies. I would love to have the gift of reading and the characters from books to life. Maybe I'm "grown up", but I still like to imagine and I love books, but I'm not like aunt Elinor. xD

Justine saulnier The Ink heart series was awesome
