Hi Alycia, welcome and happy reading!
I used to read more and more quickly. I joined a few weeks ago in the hopes that I could get my reading rate up a little, but failing that at least read more interesting things! Both things are happening and it's a lot of fun here, so I join fiona in saying "Don't be silent!!"

I also love to keep a lsit of what I read and every year I start a new list. For this year I am overdoing myself and have read 62 books by now. Still five days to go.....next year will be different I guess becasue I didn't work for the whole year and read, read, read and I am still reading, reading, reading..
Enjoy!

Alycia, dont be silent. Silent stinks... become part of the chaos and fun that is TNBBC!!!!
Thanks for joining...
Thanks for joining...

Fiona, you took the words right out of my mouth with this:
"People who don't read depress me, somehow I think they're missing out.
I love keeping track of how many books I read. I'm looking forward to 2009 because the I'm really going to start trying to keep track. Before GR I was just reading whatever, but now I feel like I really need to read more. NEED like it is in a way a duty to that horrendous pile of unread books in my bookshelf. (Poor unopened things)."
I'd probably go crazy if I didn't touch a book in a whole year! *shudder* I go into withdrawals if I don't crack a book daily! I should learn Braille so I can give my eyes a rest! ;)

Well everyone here makes up for all the others ;-) -- welcome MD - I'm just a stones throw away across DC in VA.
