Who's read it??? I love this book for some reason.Maybe because it shows how society can rebuild itself after the apocalypse.

Lori I really enjoyed the book - fast moving and (to me) an unexpected ending. The 2nd book (Deadline) was just as unexpected and it has been hard waiting for the 3rd book to be released. The 3rd book (Blackout) is to be released June 1st and I've already placed a hold on the library's first copy!

ladymurmur Loved it. Such an interesting and unusual take on the whole concept. I can hardly wait until the third book releases in June.

There are two other short titles by Mira Grant available - Countdown (which is a prequel to this trilogy), and Apocalypse Scenario (a short story in a similar style - I found it deliciously unnerving).

Did you know that Mira Grant is a pen name for Seanan McGuire? She's one of my favorite authors.

No i didnt, and countdown and deadline are some of my favorite PA books, because it really doesnt freak you out as much as other zomie books with the bleak description, but it shows thow everyone adapted

Diane I also loved this book and couldn't figure out why. I have not read "Deadline" yet, but I hope it is just as exciting as "Feed".

Rhonda Feed was fantastic! I read both short stories as well as Deadline and I honestly cannot wait to read Blackout. I am the cataloger at the local library so I will be the first to get my hands on a copy of if ;) Can't wait!

Hi, Rhonda - be sure to give yourself time to finish Blackout. There was a point in the book where I simply could NOT stop, and ended up staying awake until 3am to finish. And it was absolutely worth it.

Marina Ermakova I loved Feed, and I especially loved George. I've read Deadline and Fed, the alternate ending to Feed. Going to read Blackout in the near future. Am very, very excited for it.

Can't say I'm surprised to hear that there's a point in the book someone couldn't stop reading!

Sebastian Saint Anders Hated it. I couldn't understand how the author could do so much research on so many fronts, and completely ignore what was supposed to be the thrust of the book--journalism. Without that framework, the entire novel came across as amateurish. It was well written, the plot moved right along, but two or three chapters in, I realized Ms Grant didn't have the slightest idea what she was talking about.

Annieb I really enjoyed this book as well. Read it about a year ago and did not even realize it was part of a series! Now I am really excited. Is there an exact order I should read these? Any help would be great. Thanks

Mary de la Fe I loved this entire series. The premise, the conspiracy and especially the characters. I have a stack of new books to read and all I really want to do is re-read this series.

Fred Conrad I thought it was good and bad. The zombies were good, the plot was bad. Hate it when people try to resolve crimes or mysteries and ignore "means, motive and opportunity" in that quest. Also the zombies were more believable than the scenario of the first security breach that nobody investigated at all.
