The weekly discussion threads, glossary, and bilbiography, are all located in this folder:
http://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_...
The discussion is spread out over a series of weeks to give you time to participate.
We are also fortunate to have the participation of the author, Joseph Persico. He is logging on regularly and answering questions on a Q&A thread just for our club's discussion. There is a simple question format to follow, and you can find the thread here: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/8...
We look forward to hearing from everyone in the discussion threads.

I probably won't be participating in the discussion as I have another discussion going and am behind in another one . . . but will look forward to viewing everyone's thoughts . . .

Great to hear you picked up a copy! Hope it is up and working for you soon. Also hope you find the time to chime in on the discussion threads periodically. We will be at it for several weeks and are just getting started so there is plenty of time.

John, glad you have your book! The first week's discussion is just getting started and is devoted to the Preface, Introduction, and Chapter One. You can find that thread here: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/8...
New threads are open every week, and each thread specifies the Chapters and pages for that week's discussion. We spread it out into small chunks to give folks time to read and participate throughout the full discussion period. In addition is a glossary and bibliography for further ancillary information. The folder containing the weekly threads, bibliography, and glossary can be found here:

When you are ready pop in and please join the conversation. We look forward to your posts!

Here is the Table of Contents and the Syllabus - just follow the schedule and you will have time to read this book with the group and also continue your other reading - we make it leisurely on purpose.

You have plenty of time and there is no need to rush - just relax and enjoy.

There you go - you can do it all and have a great ole time. But we want to read your posts so post away on the weekly threads and get in some questions to Mr. Persico on the Q&A thread while he is here.

It is interesting but a lot of what happened in World War I which might have been avoided if folks had listened to Wilson happened in World War II so you may be able to see better some of the causes and the effects.

Visit http://www.wamc.org/ and click the listen live link in the very top left of the page. Perhaps they'll archive the three-hour roundtable discussion later?
Sounds terrific - also go to the Presidential threads and find FDR and place it on there too. I know that Bryan will appreciate it.

I stumbled into the Face the Nation appearance of Joseph Persico; he seemed a little nervous, but seeing him again will tell if he was nervous or if this was his speaking interview style.
