OMGOMGOMG!

Quentin Tarantino's doing a movie that has my heart aflutter! OK, so it's not romance, but it certainly looks like it will be a fantastic kind of Shaft Meets Mandingo hybrid with some spaghetti western thrown in.

Sweet! I lurved Inglourious Basterds, so to see QT doing another historically-set pic has me babbling in all kinds of excitement and tickles my un-PC plantation-porn lovin' heart.

Did you see the complete cast list on imdb?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1853728/

Don Johnson, Kurt Russell, Walton Goggins (fans self) Gerald McRaney and Tom Wopat?????

There's everyone but the kitchen sink in here. I'm going to explode in the theatre. ;D

Ooo, all star-cast! This looks worthy of dustin' off my Sunday best for the theater! Last time I went, it was LotR's. :] Jus' me and the basement dwellers! Squee!

The Blue and the Gray (Huckabee) and North & South (Lewis Smith). Both Civil War. :D

Tammy Walton Grant (tamgrant) | 214 comments Where does Sean Bean fit on that list? ;)

Oh, just for clarification, Tom Wopat is NOT who I was excited about seeing. It was the first 3. I can't believe Wopat and McRaney are both in this. QT has cast everyone and the kitchen sink.

Oh, Sean Bean is NAPOLEONIC wars. That's a category in itself. And he's all by himself, really, because no one can match him in that era. Whenever I read a romance set in that era, it's him I see at the hero. *le sigh*
