The Seasonal Reading Challenge discussion

I tell you , you learn something new every day. Thanks Kara and Dee. That would be a great task Kara.

i remember liking the one we did last season that was words like sea/see...although apparently I haven't had enough coffee this am to remember what they are called...

I have seen a lot of you talking about the Queen and it made me think of Princess Diana...born the end of July and passed at the end of August...so how about a book that is with the words Princess, People, or Royalty in the title.

and since a lot of people seem to be born in the summer (me and four of my seven siblings are summer babies) maybe a book about birthdays or a book by an author with a summer birthday.

Also...I don't know about anyone else but usually summer makes me think of fair time, so maybe a book with the word fair in the title or subject.

I just want to say that the holders for the summer tasks are up and driving me crazy!! Especially because I don't have internet at my house yet, so I won't be able to check them over the weekend!! Unless I go to the library... and while I'm there and have some new tasks... :}

I don't want to make you crazy, Jennifer! I just want to prep as much as I can today- I can't post tasks until all the placeholders are in place

Thank you for prepping! Finally, a GOOD reason to get up when my cat starts meowing in my ear! ^_^ Can't wait for tomorrow.

Hehe, I know. It wouldn't bug me if I could keep checking all weekend, but I can't. That's OK, it'll cheer up my Monday!

Thanks to everyone for some really great ideas for the Summer 2012 Challenge! The 5-15 point tasks and some 30 point tasks are up and the rest will follow in the coming days as they are available. The plan is to have the 20-25-30 tasks all posted by June 7. We hope you see something you like and that the tasks lead you to some great summer reads!
