Are any particular themes coming across in your reading of Cloud Atlas? Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell

Chris Taylor (chrisjtaylor) | 15 comments I read it elsewhere, which is probably why I've noticed it, but there are instances of descending/downward motion popping up in each of the chapters. Not sure I can discuss them here without spoiling, especially Chapter 3, but keep an eye out. I haven't quite made out what it means though.
