Group Read Nominations for June

Wonderful book that incorporates history and chemistry very well together. Not a history of chemistry, but chemistry IN history.
Every chapter starts with historical anecdotes explaining the context. Even includes molecule models and a down-to-earth (but not dumbed-down) explanation of the molecules. You don't have to know anything at all about how chemistry operates to understand (I didn't before reading). If every pop science book were written like this, I'd read them a lot more often.
Long story short: Awesome book for science OR history nerds :)

Thanks for the suggestions C and Andrew. Nominations and voting for June's read have been completed with Lucretius' On the Nature of the Universe coming out the victor. Could you please post your suggestions in the relevant thread: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/8...
Andrew - I'd have to check with Emma but I don't think that that particular book, interesting as it is, is appropriate for this group.

Ah yes, so I did. I do apologise, that should have read 'May 12th'.
