This book is awesome! I really enjoy reading it and I think I'm going to re-read it soon. It's a wonderful story! I think, what happen to Delaney is quite hard. But I like Delaney and I think she is very brave.
I was a bit annoyed with her mum, she was... I don't know... I think she was unfair to Delaney. The way she handle the whole thing with Delaneys accident was kind of unfair and not right. What do you think about her mum?
At the beginning I thought Troy is a good guy, but when it comes out that he tries to 'kill' the people or to speed up their death, he gets more and more dislikable. I prefere Decker, even if I don't like his relationship with Tara. But I like the way he believes Delaney. They're a cute couple. (:
I also like the cover of the book. Nice colours and a nice picture. I'm really happy that I found that book on the internet and if you didn't read it yet, you should do it soon. And it's cool that here is a discussion about that book. (:

I actually did read and finish this book. I did enjoy it but I think the author could have done a better job developing the characters, especially Troy. I was unsure of his motivations and even when his "nature" was revealed it seemed flat and we didn;t really get a view into the "why" of things. I would have appreciated additional depth and I think I would have enjoyed the book more if I had been able to connect to the characters more.
I enjoyed it I was not crazy ,head I've heels but I did not hate it.
Eleven minutes passed before Delaney Maxwell was pulled from the icy waters of a Maine lake by her best friend Decker Phillips. By then her heart had stopped beating. Her brain had stopped working. She was dead. And yet she somehow defied medical precedent to come back seemingly fine. Everyone wants Delaney to be all right, but she knows she's far from normal. Pulled by strange sensations she can't control or explain, Delaney finds herself drawn to the dying. Is her altered brain now predicting death, or causing it?
Then Delaney meets Troy Varga, who recently emerged from a coma with similar abilities. At first she's reassured to find someone who understands the strangeness of her new existence, but Delaney soon discovers that Troy's motives aren't quite what she thought. Is their gift a miracle, a freak of nature-or something much more frightening?
For fans of best-sellers like Before I Fall and If I Stay, this is a fascinating and heart-rending story about love and friendship and the fine line between life and death.
