Sebastian Breit | 2 comments Hey guys, I'm the author of the alternate history novel Wolf Hunt Wolf Hunt by Sebastian P. Breit . I'm working on its sequel CLASH OF EAGLES right now which will pick up the plot right after the world-changing events of September 1940.

The time has come for me to push my next novel ahead, and this time I'll need YOUR help!

I want to make CLASH OF EAGLES the best novel possible, but to shoulder the costs of a full literary edit for it I'll need YOU to spread the word of my crowdfunding campaign.

Please, take a look and help me push this forward. There are many interesting and unique perks to chose from, and even if it's not really what you're looking for, please consider spreading the word around here on Goodreads and elsewhere.

Thank you.

PS: If you're interested in the setting or have questions just message me via Goodreads or check out my page at www.spbreit.com.

What a neat way to fund your book publishing. There are so many options out there for indie publishers these days. Maybe if some of our members pick up your first book ($3.99 on Kindle for all you WWII- and time-travel-lovers), they may feel more compelled to help with your campaign so that they can read the sequel sooner. Could you expound a bit on the subject of the first book in case some of our readers might be interested in it (and thus generate interest in your kickstart campaign after reading book #1)?

Sebastian Breit | 2 comments Sure, of course Amy.

'Wolf Hunt' is a time-travel story in the tradition of Eric Flint's 'Ring of Fire' series or John Birmingham's 'Axis of Time' trilogy. Parts of a NATO taskforce from the bleak future of the year 2024 find themselves hurled back in time to 1940, right after the German conquest of France and the beginning of the Battle of Britain. It follows to sets of Uptimers – people from 2024 stuck in 1940 – as they try to cope with and influence the situation to their favor.

There's an anglophone group (US sailors and British survivors) trying to make its way to the United States where they are met with distrust by the authorities and start a power struggle between FDR and J. Edgar Hoover.

And there's a German group which tries to link up with members of the resistance in the Reich to enact a devastating coup against Hitler and the Nazis.Wolf Hunt deals with the culture clash, with issues of guilt and responsibility, and last but certainly not least with the natural butterfly effect the introduction of radically new ideas, new knowledge and new technologies creates. It also tries to showcase how similar and alien and the same time societies and people of the 1940s were compared to nowadays.

I can't say much more without going into absolute spoiler territory.
