LindaD (freedom333) | 9 comments I would love an app or program that creates a map of what you've read by setting with filters such as genre and time period. I want to be able to have my own map, as well as a common map with every book known. It's a big dream. Visualizing all the worlds' libraries in one map. I found this project of YA lit on a map of Florida that a group of students put up. I'll try to find more from all over the world.

I think it would be cool! Making one map on google is one thing(and time consuming), but it would be cool if you could enter a title and the map was pinned automatically. I'm doing research to find out if someone has done it or is doing it now. There seems to be scattered pockets of literary maps which focus both on setting and authors from a paticular place. I can't even imagine trying to compile the info, but I know there are people who could probably write programs to exploit library databases already in existence. I'm making some calls tomorrow starting with my library. I'll post whatever I find.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 25 comments This is kind of hard to see, but it is a list of American authors and with their names over where they wrote about. I'll try to find the original.
