I love Alec because he's loyal and its nice to see him grow into a more confident person. He's finding himself and learning to come out of his shell. I also love Luke and Simon! Keep in mind I've only gotten through the first three books so I have no idea how these characters currently are haha

First off, Jace's name isnt "Jace Herondale" its Jace Lightwood! I strongly believe the ones who raise u are the ones who are ur parents. And my fave characters besides Jace and Clary is Magnus!! From Book 2 and Book 4 I like Maia and Kyle/Jordan but I've ALWAYS loved Magnus, and Chairman Meow!

I have to say my favorites are Magnus and Simon. I don't see what's so attractive with Jace personally. Maybe its the shoulder-length hair.

He's a walking bag of sarcasm, and is pretty important to the group, since he saves their asses all the time.

I am kind of torn between Magnus and Jace. Jace has that cocky sort of confidence and is so full of himself, but that really only adds to his charm. Magnus, on the other hand, is a walking disco ball of awesomeness, and I can't help but love his sarcastic remarks, not to mention his amazing fashion sense! It really depends on what part of the series I'm reading at the time... After CoLS, at the end, I wasn't too happy with Magnus. But, at other times, I like Jace way better... I love how he always knows the right thing to say, and his remarks keep me laughing through the whole thing!

To all the young teenn girls who are drooling over Jace imagine having him as your bf in real life exactly as he's described in the books: obsessed over his looks , makes all your problems about himself and thinks the world revolves around him, gets jealous and broodss to an exaggerated degree , is always soft and gentle and telling you exactly what you want to hear and has no real opinions on anything and treats you like a child that can't handle anything , acts like an ass towards your best friend who has also saved his life, insults your friends as well as his own, immediately dislikes a guy he just met because everyone else likes him and suddenly he isn't the center of attention , also the only time he looks at you sexually is if he's possessed ... If you still want to date him then you are either just a young idiot who's fantasizing and hasn't matured yet and realized you wouldn't actually want a guy like that or you are the female equivalent of a fuckboy lol because that's exactly what Jace is except with a twist... He is pathetic because his life revolves around one girl and he stops caring about everyone else and he's a broken record of cliches . Uh!

Magnus for sure??? Hilarious and magical. Not to mention he has great taste with his cat and boyfriend choices and his eyeliner is *chefs kiss*
i was so obsessed with alec, ig cos my gaydar told me he has these nice vibes and we wanna like him :*) after that i read the books in a HILARIOUS speed because i waited for these gay alec and malec moments. also, i loved izzy in the series on netflix
I think my fave would either be Jace or Isabelle!!I saw some Jace slander going on in the previous comments so I'm about to defend him!! HAHAH HE'S HAD IT ROUGH PLS BE NICE T-T His entire childhood was a lie and his [sexy] defense mechanism is to be all confident and cocky but he's not an *ss when he does it :( He still always always helps people.
Isabelle, on the other hand, I think is veeeery under rated. She's the best sister anyone could ever ask for, always looking out for the entire team, and she's basically the eldest, most mature sibling (yes, I know Alec's older but he was... pre-occupied a lot by his feelings for Jace or Magnus).
**Disclaimer: This is not Alec slander!! I love that gay man but we gotta hand it to our sister, Isabelle. She gave more of herself than anyone else in the group for the group.
Okay so Magnus, Alec, and Izzy. Magnus is hilarious, magical, and sparkly. Alec is hilarious and is a great boyfriend for Magnus. Izzy is funny, smart, and knows her worth. All three of them make me smile, and give me a boost of confidence. Clary is so stupid, (SO MUCH SECONDHAND EMBARRASSMENT) and Jace is emotionally dumb in a bunch of the books. Simon doesn't know how to take no for an answer and seems like an idiot and a bit of a pick me. Still feel bad for both Jace and Simon and think that they have some good lines though.

LIKE THIS IS AN AMAZING QUOTE. And when he was in a life and death situation and just wanted to know why Magnus didnt call??? and these are just the funny things, it's so heartwarming to watch him grow into himself and become more vocal and confident.
my favorite character is Jace i he is my Perfect type of male character. Broken boy with dark past, who hides his problems behind humor etc. I know that for some this theme may seem cliché, but I really like Jace. Oh, and I love his relacionship with Clary <3
