Pride and Prejudice question

Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer! All the books I've read from Georgette Heyer and there's a lot more of them than Jane Austen novels were great and highly recommended!

I have had the same problem as you finding fun, good, clean books. Jane Austen is the best but I have a few you may like as well. Elizabeth Gaskell North and South is great and so is Cranford. I also really like Jude Morgan and Sarah Eden hope this helps

If you like Christian fiction I recommend Janette Oke. Her "Love Comes Softly" series and "Women of the West" series are good. If you like Jane Austen, you should read Julie Klassen's books. The only ones I have read are "The Girl in the Gatehouse", "The Silent Governess", and "The Maid of Fairbourne Hall". They were all good. I can't vouch for her other two since I haven't read them.

These are just a few authors whose work I enjoy because they are clean. I too wish there were more clean books available. But never fear, they are out there! :)
