Mia (mia-culpa) | 67 comments FUNNY ENOUGH. I enjoyed this book too. I think because of the book split, most people were very polarized about which they liked and hated (compared to ADWD), since most of their favorite characters were in one or the other.

BUT. I love everyone in this bar. So. I had fun.

Was a bit disappointed with the prophecy stuff regarding Cersei, I thought it was kind of a cop-out. That being said, I liked her POV (although it was more balanced in ADWD), but I wish we'd gotten it a book earlier so she should have been paralleled to Jaime.

And you know, INSERT ALL MY SANSA FEELS HERE.

Jenn | 6 comments I just finished it last night. Started off very slowly, but picked up in the second half. It's not as good as the third book, but still entertaining. IDK, it's probably my least favorite so far.

Maria (deepfriedhoney) | 16 comments I think it's everyone's least favorite. I have run into a few that think its better or on par with ADWD but I think they're loony.

I think most people dislike it because they don't get the fact that it runs parallel to ADwD, and they only want to read about previously established characters.

Sn Finished reading.

Did not hate it :)

Just hated GRRM for leaving Arya's tale at a cliffhanger and of course we will not hear from her again for another book or so. Just the way he did it for Tyrion in book#3. The man is a sadist.

Although Briannie's storyline dint do much to contribute to the main thread of events, I think it gave a much missed view point into the lives of the common folk of Westeros. Each of her chapter was like a short story in itself and I have no complaints, I enjoyed reading them.

Caroline (cblace) | 35 comments AFFC is one of my favorites. I really like world-building and politics over the crazy battles so I was totally okay with staying in and around King's Landing to focus on Cersei and Margaery.

I agree. I appreciated it even more on my re-read.
