A Game of Thrones
question
Game Of Thrones - TV Series

Who else is watching? I watched season 1 faithfully, it was very complimentary to the books but I am not liking season 2 too much. I have falled out of love with the TV series :(
Whereas season one was appointment TV, episodes of season 2 seats in my DVR for days on end.
I prefer reading the commentary on Real TV Chat than watching the show itself. The Admin is a HUGE fan of the Starks lol http://realtvchat.com/forum/11-asoiaf...

I haven't fallen out of love with Season 2 but I definitely have some gripes. I agree Season 1 was excellent and I watched twice over, the second time in 2 sittings.
I've already started a discussion on this on another thread so I'm not going to repeat myself here but here's the link if you want to join the discussion there

I watched the first season, then read ALL of the books in quick succession. I was looking forward to season two and am enjoying it tremendously except I think if someone hasn't read the books, they may be quite lost. My only question re: season two is: does watching it make you want to read the series again? I'm kind of dreading the idea of re-reading the series. I've decided I'm going to re-read it only when a new book comes out.
