J.D. Robb discussion

Me too, Bonni...may have to slip those off my bookshelves and read them again!

Hello all! My name is Brooke. I obviously joined the group because I'm a fan of J.D. Robb and the In Death series. I kind of stumbled upon the series when someone gave me a file of ebooks for my nook and almost the entire series (all but the last 5) was on the thumb drive. I enjoy reading murder mysteries especially those that are of a series. I enjoy the same base of characters. Anyway, I started with Naked In Death and never stopped. I picked up the first book on March 15th and finished the series (so far) on July 13th. At one point I was averaging 3 books a week. I've never done that before. I actually feel extremely accomplished due to reading a 48 book series in just under 4 months. I never intended on this happening but I got into the first book and then moved to the second and the third and kept going. It was great timing actually because it took my mind off of some things going on at work and it was amazing to just get lost in a book with characters who became sort of like friends. I can't wait for the next books to come out. I already have them both on pre-order!

Welcome Brooke. I must admit I did the same thing, only I started out of order, then went back and started at the beginning. This is a fantastic place to hang out with fellow Death fanatics....

I can't explain what it is about this series that has us doing things we've never done with others. Many of us here plowed through just as you have and were stunned we did that. I'm just glad I found this group and realized what I did was normal...at least here:)

Welcome brooke i can totally relate with you...my sister introduced me to the series last August and was completely down with all those that were out by the beginning of December...I am totally hooked. I just recently started to reread the series.

hey all! i am Juhi ! I stumbled upon in death series many times but never couldnt seem to start it ! but i am a big NOra Roberts fan so started this series this may and am absolutely loving it right now i have read till strangers in death and there wasnt even one book in the whole lot that i didnt like they are just awesome ! i absolutely love all the charracters! the books me sometimes laugh out loud and sometimes i am crying like a baby !
i will be starting salvation some day in this week :D

Hi Brooke & Juhi! Welcome to this group of JD Robb fanatics! Most of us experienced the same thing as both of you with picking up one of the books and getting immediately hooked. Hey all! I'm Colleen and I am in love with J.D. Robb's In Death series. :) I have read and re-read all the books. I have the complete (well, not including the latest, Calculated and the new three more which would be published in the next few months )copies of this amazing series in ebook and some in paperback and hard bound. :)) Well right now I'm making one of my life's purpose is collecting each and every one of the books in print. :)

Hi Colleen! I remember my first time discovering JD Robb too when I found out it's Nora Roberts. I actually went on eBay and bid on a lot of books to starting my journey with Eve and Roarke. Maybe you can find something on eBay as well to help your collection. :)

OMG! Really?? That's amazing! Looking for hard copies here in the Philippines is so frustrating sometimes.

I have started reading j.d. robb many years ago and did not start in order nor have I read all of the series as of yet. I do not read them in order but with the newest ones I have read in order. I instantly fell in love with the characters and now I am addicted to Eve, Roarke, Peabody and the whole gang. Now that I work at Half Price books I have been able to complete the collection and have found a co-worker who also reads the in death series avidly .

I started reading In Death Series since 15 so I'm like involved with it for four years now. Problem is, I haven't read all of the books in the series since it was kind of hard for me to find a copy (I have re-read some of my copies, though). In Death isn't really popular here. But who cares about popularity, right? So there.

I think I don't have to say I'm obsessed with Roarke, aye? WE PROBABLY (DEFINITELY) ALL ARE. <3

Hey everyone. My name is Lisa and I started reading this series earlier this year because my friend copied it on my Kindle. I love this series and I just finished Born in Death. Eve really is the best heroine. She kicks ass. And I'm head over heels in love with Roarke.I love all the characters and I'm totally invested in this series.
