When I was 16 my mom's friend gave her her copy of Naked in Death and my mother thought I would like. Ever since then I've read every book in the series. I can't get enough of the books! I reread them often.

Hello, everyone! My name is Kirsten and I live in eastern Washington State. The last "In Death" I've read is Calculated in Death. I prefer to get them in audiobook format since Susan Ericksen is just perfect!

One strange thing (or not so strange) is when I get a migraine or a sinus headache or the flu, I drag out my In Death audios and listen to them.

Reading the last few posts here, the technology is cool in Eve & Roarke's world. But I'd really like some of their laws: the Professional Mothers salary, the legal self-terminations, the gun ban, etc.

Welcome, Kirsten! Just one question...does your migraine go away after listening to the In Death audiobooks?

I love the concept of professional mothers...I'd forgotten all about that.

No, not really. But I can't really do anything with a migraine -- no tv, no reading, no computer. I love just listening to Eve & Roarke & Peabody & gang and try to ignore the migraine.

I agree with you Kirsten, Susan Eriksen is perfect. I also love to listen to this series when I feel bad and just need to lie with the lights put. There is something calming about it.

I don't know about calming, Dawn. But it is such a wonderful world, like going back to visit old friends. I've got the audio of Naked in Death loaded on my Kindle right now. The first two are two of her best.

Hi Kirsten! Welcome aboard! I think it's awesome that the audios help you get through your migraines...or at least pass the time.

Another use for audiobooks, dental appointments. More than one has eased me through it. (Only problem is the humor. Dentist doesn't like me giggling during a procedure.)

You're welcome! Mine never minded. It really makes it easier for me. I used to have to take valium before any procedures, but now that I bring in my audios, I don't have to do that.

I have been a huge fan of the "In Death" series for many years. When I got my Ereader last Christmas - I decided to start reading several series in order. This is one of the series I am doing. I've read them out of order unfortunately before, I am now on Judgment in Death - getting ready to start that one now!
