Hi, I'm Sue! I've been reading the JDR books almost since they first started being published. I've been reading Nora's books since "Public Secrets" was initially published (1990? 91??) I also enjoy romantic suspense by other authors, and look forward to finding new authors through this group!!
Hi Emma, welcome to the group!! I'm curious as to why Mavis doesn't seem to be a favorite of your's?

Hi I'm Christine. I started reading the In Death series around 2004 at the beginning. When I got to the last book (at the time) I started all over again and am just now starting Calculated. I also think the books would make a better tv series than movie. At one or two books a season the series would last over 15 years! lol
Sorry, I meant I was starting Concealed In Death now, not Calculated!

Hi, I'm Rachael! I recently started reading the In Death series about 2 months ago. I first got into/found about the series when my mom had the Reunion in Death audiobook playing on a trip and got curious after the park fight scene between Roarke and Eve. I listened to Naked in Death in about a day and fell in love. I listen to all of them and eventually want to own a hard copy of every book also. (I'm at about 10 owned right now :)) I'm just finishing Portrait today and moving onto Imitation. Glad to be in the group!

I'm not new to the group by any means....I see that I've made 170+ posts (wow!) since joining! However, I *used* to receive e-mail prompts anytime someone posted to a thread I had posted on. Is this feature disabled because I haven't posted for a certain period of time? Maybe making this post will make it happen again....I sure miss it!

GR's notification system is a bit quirky. If you fail to respond to a notification within a topic, you won't receive another one. You still should have received notifications for any new ones opened. I recommend you check your settings as they may be disabled for this group.
OK I got that one....maybe I just needed a jump-start and they will start coming again. I usually visit when I see the comment but don't always reply. I just finished up Thankless in Death over the weekend so I'm not completely through the series yet :) This series is definitely worth a re-read, or in my case, a re-listen :)

I feel like I should re-introduce myself as I've been inactive on the site since I went on a road trip to Boston and back for my brother's wedding. Trust me, leaving your state gives you a greater appreciation of it! LOL!!I live in Kennewick, WA, and am the proud caregiver of a 15-year-old Aussie Shepherd mix who fortunately forgave me for leaving her at a kennel for 6 weeks!
I love Eve & Roarke! They are my go-to audiobooks for when I'm sick!
Hi, I am Jillian and I became an In Death addict when the series first started. I have read all of them probably 10 or more times and know some of them by heart, I think. I can never get enough of this series and cannot wait until the next one comes out.

Hi! Name is Daniela, I'm 17 and Portuguese. Nora Roberts is my favorite author, I've been reading her books since I was 10 (I've now read fairly more that 40!). The In Death series is definetly one of my faves. :D I also love Hidden Richies and Sea Swept. Glad to be apart of the group!
PS: I defend the existence of more Peabody and McNab time. I think I'd also enjoy if Dallas had a child..

Hey! I'm Cyndi. I'm new to the group and new to goodreads. I started with Creation in Death. I read a few more in the series and then decided to start back at the beginning. My life got crazy busy shortly after that and I don't remember where I stopped. So I'm hoping to start back at the beginning again sometime soon. I don't have a lot of free time to actually read anymore, so I mostly listen to books now. I'm looking forward to getting to know more JD Robb fans/addicts!! :)

Hello! My name is Sirena. I picked up the J.D. Robb series in May after finishing 50 shades books. Then I moved onto the Crossfire series by Sylvia Day and finally started the Megan Hart series. I am currently reading book #5 - Ceremony in Death and so far it's really good! I am looking forward to reading the whole series, and not being much of a reader that says a lot on how great this series has been thus far. :)
