I'm Kay, a long time Nora Roberts fan. From her early Harlequin days. That led to Robb though I never made the connection until it was announced.
I came looking for this group today because I'm wasting so much money looking for books that are at least 1/2 as good as this series. I'm listening to the series in order, again. I'm on Divided in Death and plan to finish the series, but I'm also dying for something new. Suggestions more than welcome.
Now, to get back to what I was doing...looking at the cast photos. I'm having a great time guessing who each picture looks like before I read the comments.
I know who I'd love as Eve but she's too old. We need a 12 year old who can 'look' older so she'll still be able to look like kick butt cop in thirty or forty years when the movies are still coming out. lol
Hi Kaydee! Welcome to our group! I'm so glad you found us & look forward to discussing the series with you. We also have some great Monthly Read Books & Book of the Month Authors. I'm currently enthralled with Sandra Brown & Karen Rose. Jump in anytime!

My memory is a disaster so I hope you all will be able to understand my 'long hand.' I've tried Sandra Brown and didn't like her though don't remember why. The the series about the repro girl? Barely made it through the second and the movie.
I'm off to Audible to check out Karen Rose.
Welcome, Kay! I've been enjoying your journey through the cast photos:)
I'm going to second Sandra's recommendation about Karen Rose. I call her the queen of romantic suspense. Just read her series in order, though.
Some of Sandra Brown's earlier books weren't appealing to me but her more recent books have worked for me.
Lastly, when I was in your shoes, looking for another series after In Death, Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooters was recommended (first book The Unsung Hero) and I fell in love! The first book is good but the series strengthens with the second and by the third, you just can't stop.
Hope this is helpful!

And Jonetta...you've just added another author/series to my very long list! :) I haven't read any Brockmann.
LOL...don't think so although I've heard about it - just not got around to it yet. That good, hmmmm???

p.s. they have sites for dvds and cds too.
I only asked because mine has the entire Troubleshooters series in both eBook and audiobook formats.

cheers

Welcome, Elizabeth! You hold the wonderful distinction of being our 1,000th member to join the group!!! It's time to celebrate.
So glad to see you here.
So glad to see you here.

Welcome Kris! Jonetta has hooked me on more than a few series but like Dawn, I cannot blame her with this one! Happy to have you join our group!

Susan Ericksen is one of th..."
I have found that I just don't enjoy the books as much unless I'm listening to Susan Ericksen's superb performance. She doesn't just read these books, she performs them! Best audiobook voice out there!

Hello, number 1000! Welcome!

I'm currently reading (again) festive in death.
thanks!
