Hi everyone, I joined last week but neglected to come and introduce myself...better late than never! I know Sandra and Jonetta from some other groups and being a lover of the series decided it was finally time to join you. Currently on my first re-read, and doing it in audio. Trying to catch up with the group read so I can join in the discussions.

Took me some time to leave a comment here(sorry). After I had a stroke several years ago, my librarian sent me a digital player as a way to help me concentrate again. She would also suggest authors and that's when J. D. Robb came into my life. I loved the series, especially the love between Eve & Roarke, as well as their badass behavior. Although I am behind in the retread process in this group, I'm excited to have found you all and to be working to catch up!

So glad you were able to discover this series as part of your healing process. Happy to have you with us & look forward to discussing any and all of the books with you, Kim. :)

Enjoy your reading! And I'm jealous that you get to discover Eve and Roarke and the gang as a new experience. I miss reading these books as a "first time".

Welcome Kim!! I am pretty much a new reader through the series as well. I had read about 10 books in years ago and decided to start over from Naked and make my way through, so much of the series is my first time! I love that we have this group to discuss our love of the books! I'm not sure that I could ever get tired of reading an In Death case. :-)

Welcome Kim! So glad to have you join our group. I have only known about the ID books for a little over a year, (I can hardly believe it) but in that short time, they have brought me incredible
enjoyment and joy. In this past year, I have become obsessed with the books! LOL I've read and re-read, listened and re-listened, and never tire of experiencing love and solving murder cases through Eve and Roarke's eyes. What a tremendous gift we've all been given and so glad to have another in our group to share our thoughts about this wonderful series with. :)

Hello everyone. My name is Rebecca and I am a bookaholic. I have read everyone of the In Death books and tend to pre-order them from Amazon as soon as the new titles are uploaded. The In Death series is one of my all time favorites. Typically I read a book a day so when I now a new In Death book is about to be released I re-read the series from the beginning just to refresh my memory of all the twists and turns.

Most of my friends think I am crazy for reading as much as I do so I have no one to talk to about any of my books. So I have started joining goodreads groups for all of my favorite authors. I hope to get to know some of you better and am always up for discussing books.

Years ago an Attorney I worked with gave me the first three books and I loved them. Unfortunately, life has a way of intervening and I never continued the series until I got my Kindle and it had the first 33 books in the series. I've joined the group to drop in on the discussions and to try and read the series through.

I, too, started the series quite fortuitously. The lady at the bookstore was sure I'd like it. I wasn't sure. After that, I ALWAYS took here advice seriously!!

Hi so my name is Charlotte I have been a fan of J.D.Robb for years now and have just finished her latest book! I found out about the books through the Castle tag on tumblr 2/3 years back and haven't looked back since then digesting probably about her entire series then in about 3 months they got me hooked! I now countdown till her next book because I love them so much! So yep that's me!
