Welcome aboard, Cassandra! We're happy to have you join us! I was wary of this series for the same reason at first, but soon found out that I loved it! I'm now on my 3rd complete read through. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts as you continue your journey through the series. :)

Enjoy.

I discovered In Death years ago when first 6 books were translated into Estonian. Then the Estonian publisher stopped with them and I thought that its done (it was pre-goodreads times).
So you can imagine my surprise when I found out that Eve, Roarke & Co still strongly carry on. And there are already more than 40 books, plus short stories. Wow.
So now I read them in English and I'm slowly, but surely, catching up with the series.
It great pleasure to "meet" readers who are also hooked on this series! May In Death series continue long and strong!

Welcome!!! That sounds like Christmas to me! Having 40 books to look forward to.

I'm looking forward to joining the buddy read in a little while, I'm up to reading No 20 Survivor In Death.
Even though Roarke (Sigh!!!) and Eve are the stars of the series naturally I really, really love Peabody and McNab. My favourite scene so far in all the books was when they got together in the elevator in Loyalty in Death. Their scenes together sizzle and are hilarious.

Yay Lisa!!! So happy to have you here! Welcome aboard! With the buddy reads - many of us are rereaders so come on & join our discussions now. I'm sure you'll remember enough about each book to join in.

Hi Selina! Welcome to the group! We have a buddy read of the series going now...just finishing up with the novella Interlude in Death this month. Happy to have you join us anytime! :)

I found the In Death series when I was 16 and in that same year I binge read all the books up to the latest release. Ever since then I've read every book and novella released. I've finished reading Echoes in Death and I am anxiously waiting for Secrets in Death.

I've been wanting to find a place to talk to other people who love the series. The last couple of books have made me think the series may be closing story arcs and winding to an end, and I wondered if anyone else noticed that. I won't get specific here, but I hope to find a place to talk about it. Anyway. I look forward to talking with you.
Welcome, Kate! We're glad you landed here as we love to discuss this series.
As to the series winding down, according to Nora that's a big emphatic "NO." She's recently said she has no end in sight. However, what you're probably sensing is the growth of Eve and team as they continue to evolve (as they should).
