Hello everyone! I read the first few In Death books many years ago. I can't say why I stopped reading the series, but I've decided to get back into it. I thought joining this group for me re-immersion into the series would be beneficial - so here I am!

Hello! I can't remember when I first discovered and began reading this series, but I finished Apprentice in Death and immediately set out to reread the series. I'm currently reading Ritual in Death, although out of order as I'm waiting for a library copy of Salvation.
I came across this group and joined, both because I adore the In Death series, and because I have a bit of a question. Eve has a little "dream" blip in Ritual that I know connects to another story - am I out of order here in asking which book it comes from? Thanks, and redirect me please if I'm asking in the wrong spot.

Hi everyone! I'm Treena from Ontario, Canada. I'm a stay-at-home mom of a 5y.o. little boy. I've always been a bookworm since I was a young girl.

I first discovered Naked In Death back in 1996 when I found out that J.D. Robb was a pseudonym for Nora Roberts who was already one of my favorite authors). I've been hooked since then and the series is one I can re-read over and over again. Although if I had to name a favorite --- it would be Survivor in Death because of Nixie.

Hi Everyone, I started the In Death series as a reader in 2007 and read the first 7 in just a few short weeks... then I discovered Rourke/Eve on audio narrated by Susan Ericksen and I was done for.

In Death I save for the inevitable book droughts when you've read 3-4 unsatisfying books and need to recharge your desire to read. A great strategy for me and has worked well. I'm at book 37 Thankless in Death which I will start with my next book drought. Annually I only allow myself to read 3-4 per year. I want the series to last as long it can...

Hi, I'm Kim. When audio books first became mainstream, I was already what I call a book addict. My friend introduced me kicking and screaming to audio books. At the library, I discovered JD Robb's In Death series! I've been in love with the series since then, The stories and the characters, are all vividly brought to life by the author and Narrator, Susan Erickson narrates each of them to perfection. I've read them all and can't wait for the next one. I never get bored or disappointed! I'm looking forward to connecting and sharing with fellow In Death Fans.

I've been getting emails from following this group for a year but just recently became interested in reading the buddy reads. I'm looking for new writers I haven't found on my own. I enjoy reading the comments here as much or maybe more than the reviews. And every time there is a Barbara "Cookie" comment I read that too. She has a nice sense of life.

This has always been one of my favorite groups in which to participate in buddy reads. The comments and discussions are always so insightful and perceptive. We have a great group of members!

I'm Jalayne. I was book shopping at my local Goodwill a year or so ago. I came across Origin In Death and several others. I bought a few of them and immediately became hooked. I was thrilled to discover that almost every time I go into Goodwill, I can buy one I haven't read before. I still haven't read them all, but I've read quite a lot of them.

Hey everyone !! I'm Kavita. I have loved mysteries and murders from a very young age and went through a right of passage in my teens with series starting with Nancy Drew, Hardy Brothers, Agatha Christie, Perry Mason moving on to the much complicated plot books.. like Federick Forsyth, Jeffrey Archer and even Lee Child. I found "Naked in Death" when I was browsing the listopia for Best books for Thrillers.. And I couldn't stop.. I am obsessed with this series.. The murder investigations are absolutely phenomenal, and add to it the future fantasy part and the wowtastic characters, we have a perfect recipe for a sensational read. I have read all books in this series, I am currently reading "Echoes in Death" and the each book in this series has never let me down.

I am a fan of Ms. Robb's work, the way the characters and their relationships progress in every book, beautifully interwoven with the plots, the loyalty of the cops, the way Eve protects everyone. Just wow !!

PS : I have used Goodreads since long, but I have been actively contributing only recently. Looking forward to making new friends with similar reading tastes !!
