Indignation Just starting this group. Hope to make it to 50. Not sure about Indignation. I listen to audio books as I drive. This book is difficult for me to become engaged in; and I hope to get to the part that explains why it made it to many of the "must read" lists.
A lot of people cite the slight twist when the nature of the narrator is revealed as an intriguing element of this book. I was far more interested in Roth's exploration of a young man's mind. Until I am convinced otherwise, I feel like Roth brilliantly develops male characters (which I can usually identify with), but can only produce caricatures of women. I haven't read all of his books, but that's my take so far.
