Love your list Maria. Guess I should try something like that.

Just think of it as drinking your eight 8 ounce glasses of water per day requirement, only with better flavor!
Er, I mean...don't force yourself to drink anything...You are getting sleepy, Sleepy...Close your eyes...Go to Sleep, don't read or drink anything.

How about we be REALLY REALLY nice to Judy and adopt this template? It makes her life much easier, AND, on top of that, makes it MUCH faster to total our points, which means Judy gets more reading in, which means WE get more points! (I see no downside!)
Just look through the thread, edit your first post to use the template and then edit your other posts to include lovely encouraging messages or delete them. When you want to add in more points, simply edit your first post again! If you're not sure how to USE the template, simply look at Judy's or my post, or really ANYONE who's using the template.
Please don't post more than one post unless absolutely necessary! It clutters up the thread and makes Judy's job just as hard.

JUDY AND THE TOPPLERS THANK YOU!

I've found a way to read the 800+ page Poe book and feed my baby boy at the same time. Thank God for iTunes U, which has a podcast of all of his short stories and poems read out loud. I simply listen to the story until my son is done eating and then go back to reading. Plus, maybe having each story read aloud will stimulate my son! (If he's 'goth' later on in life, I'll blame these Poe read-aloud moments...!) :)
My wife says I'm crazy trying to try and read this book in one week since she said it took her 2 years to read as an English major in college. I say she may be right, but I don't have to write papers and discuss the book at length to finish it!

Wow, Maria! Way to go! I am in awe of your reading prowess! I read "Heart of Darkness" a while ago. I loved it, but my wife didn't. I think it's also the basis of one of my favorite movies, "Apocalypse Now".

As much as I wish I was through the Poe, I am not yet. I am getting closer, however!

But wouldn't it be better to simply edit your first templated post? That way Judy doesn't get messed up."
That's what I've been doing, just changing the information each day on the initial post. It keeps this thread shorter so Judy doesn't have to search as much.

Another way to keep the thread shorter for Judy is to move all the chitchat to the discussion thread! I'm guilty too. :)

Hopefully people will actually check and read these posts!
