So, I'm currently writing a book about unconventional methods of promotion and networking, and I'm looking for about five authors who used interesting methods to promote their book. The interview will appear in my book. Anyone interested in posting how they promote themselves and/or their book? It has to be something different from just the normal ways people think to promote themselves. For instance, author Marcia James promoted her books through a sex column where her character gave the advice.

Well I uploaded my books to some torrent sites if that counts as different.

Torrent sites are where people go to get pirate films, games and music by the way.

I even posted on the site forums and included links to them on my blog.
