I read The Fog years and years ago. It still haunts me.

I'd never heard of cricket or cricket bats before I'd read it. Maybe that's why I have no desire to watch cricket...

I will second that about The Fog. Of course a misguided upbringing seeing how absolutely everything evil occurs in foggy forests on Hammer House of Horror didn't help either

Was the movie (of the same name) based on this book?
I know that it was in America but the premise seems very similar!

I did Rats. I found it deliciously creepy.

The Rats and Lair were great. I tried a new author recently (Mira Grant) and read her book, on Kindle, called Feed. It surprised me that I liked it was not my usual sort, involving zombies as it does! But for all that it was a pleasant surprise.

I've read all 3 of the rats trilogy, but not for a while. I love reading horror books but very few scare me.

I loved the rat's trilogy,also enjoyed The Fog. I take a masochistic pleasure in scaring myself witless.
Rosemary's Baby was memorable for me also anything by Dennis Wheatley.

Did I read correctly somewhere (and I cannot for the life of me remember where I read it) that there is going to be a new film of Stephen King's 'IT'? am not sure how I feel about that to be honest. I grew up with the original!!

Yea I've heard that too... I heard about it in the horror group on Facebook, I remember clearly saying that what totally freaked me out was the dude's mole :/
