Michael | 254 comments I went to quite some lengths to add all of the books in the "The Dennis Wheatley Library of the Occult" series to Goodreads and then to create a Series to link them together. The series has been deleted, much to my annoyance.

The Librarian Log holds no series information (http://www.goodreads.com/book/edits/8...) and I wonder if a Super can check how the series was deleted, before I start the arduous task of re-creating it.

Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments I didn't delete this particular series, but from what I'm looking at on the internet it does not fit into what Goodreads qualifies as a series and was not wrongly deleted.

The general rule for a series is that all editions of a book added to a series must be part of the series. Unless I'm mistaken this was a "series" where books were reprinted with a brand that marked them as part of the set.

This type of collection is better off as a Listopia. I believe supers can now mark listopias as static so that no one can add books to a list except for the creator (and a super?).

You're definitely not mistaken; it includes works such as Frankenstein and Dracula, for example.

Michael | 254 comments OK, I'll wind my neck in then :-)

If I create the "series" in Listopia, how do I get it made static, as it's definitely limited to specific editions of the works it includes?
