I gave it 3.75 stars. Story: Woman get's involved with a man who has some friends with benefits...can she handle it? I was pleasantly surprised that it was an enjoyable story and I really liked some of the friends. They were good people. The hero had some serious baggage and honestly, so did the heroine. The crazy sex was a bit unbelievable-how could people keep it so light? I really think this group of folks must have had some issues with it and their relationships.....But this is fiction after all. In the end...Worth the read.
My Weekly Point:
Tree in on many different pages (Pg. 111) "For the first time since the awful moment the car veered out of control and wrapped itself around a tree."
For 3 Extra Points:
Uniform (Pg.166) "The second officer, so tall and thin he reminded her of a giraffe in uniform...."
Flower (Pg. 187) "Running late after the bit with Tyler's flowers, she walked briskly through the formal gardens."
Shoe (Pg. 39) "That's easy, so you only have to take off a shoe."

Even I cannot read that fast in one day unless I devote my whole day to it!

I have
tree:“To the tree line?” Chapter 4
Source of light:an automatic streetlight flickered to life, chapter 1

Am I allowed to change these if I find one of the harder things, like maybe uniform??

Sure thing Kathy, you can change the items, because technically until you finish the book you can't earn any points. So If you wish to change them then just post it with your review.

I have to look the page up, but main character and her partner went for a swim in the lake. I will get back with page number.

The temperatures were in the 100's on Thursday and Friday where I live. There's a relief of 80 degree temperature this week, but then it will go back in to the 90's again where I live.

Laura, If you could go back and add your items to your review. You can claim 3 extra items so if you find something else too add it. then let me know to go back and check the post to add the points to the spread sheet.
Kathy, I am keeping track of all the items I find, then when I am done and ready to review I will decide which other 3 items I think am least likely to find again.

*sighs* I have a disease of book hoarding. I bought it this weekend because it was 99cents on amazon kindle. I have heard it was good from t'irla, and she recommended I try it. So I bought it.
It will go on the TBR pile for September!

Book: Divine Evil
Rating: ★★★★★
Finished: 11-Jul-12
Review: Wow, this story managed to creep me out big time, it got to where I wouldn't read it before bed. What a fantastically convoluted plot! The ending came out of left field and made me question the conclusions I'd come to as I'd read it. I'm a fan of Nora Robert's writing, and her romances can be sweet, but I do think she excels when she adds horror and suspense to the mix.
Other Items:
*Tree - Cover + Pg 8 - “The circle had been prepared long ago, a perfect nine feet, by the clearing of trees and young saplings”
*Uniform - Pg 18 - “Blair, in his spiffy band uniform, marching down Main Street in the Memorial Day parade.”
*Graveyard - Pg 25 - ”The graveyard was a pretty creepy place, but on the other hand, this was the most excitement they’d had since Billy Reardon had hot-wired his father’s pickup...”
*Vehicle other than car - Pg 80 - ”Together they had rented a motorbike and spent a weekend puttering through the streets.”

Review: It was quick, fun read. This book reminds me a little Molly Harper Jane Jameson series. In both series there is mothers that is a little overwhelming and the main character wants to get away. In this book she moves to Alaska and finds there werewolf, home and love :)
Other Items: Tree on cover, Shoe on cover, Silhouette on cover, Mythical creature on cover (werewolf)

I LOVED this series. I read it before Jane Jamison and I thought the same thing, that Jane was like Mo.

Rating: 4-stars

Review: Another great installment by Nalini Singh. Great writing. I like how she integrates the prior characters. So you get glimpses of how they are connected.
Faith Nightstar was a F-psy, which means she has foresight. She is invaluable to her psyclan as she can foresee business ideas, and have her family invest early. She begins having visions of murder and freaks out because she is only supposed to see business visions. Faith decides to escape before she is institutionalized as a mentally broken psy. Vaughn is a jaguar changling who is inexplicably drawn to the isolated Faith. He helps her break down her physical barriers as they try to figure out what the visions of murder mean.
Knife: “The knife she'd used was in one hand. When she raised it, the light from a torch glinted, off it.” Pg. 58
Mirror/Reflection:: “It was a promise, one she armored herself in, but it still took every ounce of Psy skill she had to keep her voice from breaking as she relived the horror. "I saw his reflection." A reflection cast in blood, a ruby-red mirror in the enamel house of that last vision.” Pg. 160
Source of Light: “Afterward, they lay intertwined, watching dawn infiltrate the room on slender beams of light.” Pg. 182
Able to smile this morning, though the smile was a little fragile, she settled back against him, listened to the sound of the waterfall, and took in the sunlight pouring in through the ingenuity of Vaughn's vent designs.Pg. 183
