Will this be counted as source of light in

"And suddenly my reflection explodes in golden light." (from page 3)

And from
"The distant roar of a motorcycle brings me out of my fog, and I turn to see a single headlight shining from the beach end of the street." (from page 61)

But, I think I'll keep for my graveyard book because of the cover. I just want to know if these two books I mentioned, can be used for my source of light book? Plus, I can use them also for mythical creatures: angels and mermaids.

2) Uniform: The girl in the reflection has blond hair and wears a plaid schoolgirl outfit, nothing like the white tank top and cutoffs I have on now. (please make a good argument to Dawn to accept that for uniform). Ch. 1

Cap is a synonym for Hat.
Boots are a type of shoes

Review/Thoughts:
I finally finished this book! It was enjoyable, but boring at the same time. This book reminded me of Resident Evil and The Walking Dead when I was reading it because of all the zombies. I'll read book two, Dearly, Beloved when it releases because I want to know what's next for Nora, Bram, and company!

And with that Viscous Vixens just took the lead.

I read

I enjoyed it , but could only give it three and a half stars!!
I felt the whole story lacked the usual feeling that JF manages to get into her books. Vlad seemed somehow different than his Night Huntress character, And the Electrical current thing with Leila I found a bit too much. But in having said that, I will read the next book, as I really want to see Vlad get his HEA with someone who can be put on equal footing with him!! And maybe we will get the old Vlad back!?

The feedback I have been getting about Vlad's book mirrors your review. So for that reason, I put it on the backburner. i think I won't read it until book 2 comes out. *sighs* so much hype gets the expectations really high, so I need to let all the hype die down.

This question has been posed twice, with no reply.
I know everyone is busy with other stuff, but it would be nice to get a response especially when we are just trying to help.

The only way we can be successful is to help each other. We all should be reading our teammates posts so we can see what our other teammates are doing, looking for or needing help with. Even just a simple post to cheer each other on is great for Team Spirit.

Darn this is the first review I saw, I am not upto date with Cat & Bones so I wasn't ready to tackle it yet , but I was really hoping there was a happpy ever after for Vlad. I suppose she is stringing it out like Cat and Bones in the beginging. grrrrrr

the complaint I have heard is that Vlad wasn't the fun-loving, funny wit, sexy guy from Night Huntress. We know he will get his HEA, so maybe she should have given him one book like Mencheres & Spade. But then again, Cat And Bones took a couples of books to get squared away too.
But I think I would like to wait just like I will wait for KMM to finish Dani O'Malley's books (Iced/Fever world) before even starting them. That way I can read straight through.

Too bad I liked fun-loving, funny wit, sexy Vlad. I still have a few books before I get there so maybe it will be close to done before I am ready to read. I think I am only on book 4.

Book 4 is my favorite. absolute favorite of the series. Enjoy!

P.S. you could use Book 4 for your scategories book. It is "D"estined for an Early Grave

and I am kicking butt on that scattergories. Even though you haven't updated points, I counted everyones and I am ahead

I don't have a problem with that, but you aren't communicating with us, so I didn't know that. You don't give progress updates or anything. You are still missing a graveyard book, and this week's source of light book. When do you think you will be caught up because a new item will be announced on Sunday?

I'm not sure what your group is or the requirements of that challenge, but this particular challenge is time sensitive, that makes a difference. Please chat with us more, and let us know what's up.

My Kindle wouldnt open last night to finish my post, and it was too late to sit up and play techies!

I don't know if my sights were set too high for "Once Burned" or what it was, but I found it just had no feeling. As for Vlad he was nothing like the Vlad from Night Huntress. He was COLD, and even nasty. Very demanding toward not only his staff but Leila as well. Actualy the worst part I think was the fact that he (view spoiler)[Knew, but never acknowledge her virginity, in a decent manner, it was almost a joke to him. (hide spoiler)]It just didnt seem right .
I had deliberately stayed away from reviews etc, so I couldn't be swayed, in my opinion, so I knew nothing about the story, other than it was Vlad's and Leila's.

Well, I'm off for three days til Monday where I've to work again. I've been able to read a book in a day or two in the past when I didn't have anywhere to go. This weekend, I'll have to go to Walmart to get some stuff, but otherwise, I'll be home reading and doing laundry in-between.

You HAVE to use Source of Light this week is the Item of the week.
And thus, for week 2, your points will be reduced to 3 as you can't have duplicates. I had the exact same thing as week 2 I claimed source of light from Iron Kissed.

It has happened to all groups if you look at the google spreadsheet. Every single team has had a multiple occurence

Dystopian novels sometimes is a hit or miss with me. Either I really like them or I don't really like them. I've a question. I want to know if this has a graveyard anywhere in this book?



The only reason why I'm asking is because I've read book 1 last year in one day because it was really amazing and I couldn't put it down so yeah.

I say go for the one you will enjoy. That way reading it isn't a "chore". I see you love YA books.

Yeah, I read a lot of YA books, but I also like adult books too even though it doesn't seem like it. I work at my public library and one of my co-workers let me know whenever she orders new YA books so I can put holds on the books I'm interested in reading.

I read Delirium. It was okay. The last YA's that I liked where Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater and Immortal Rules.

You have got to read Night Road by Kristin Hannah. It is Adultish-YA. Does that sense? I loved that book too.

I am begging you.....BEGGING you....I understand you are trying to read different books from your individual challenges you are involved in....but for the team....to help us....would you consider a book you already read for GRAVEYARD?

Graveyard (Pg. 147) "She hated having to lie, but she hoped the offer of space would alleviate the hardship of their having to accompany her to the graveyard."

Reflection or Mirror (Pg. 254) "The image of him appearing in her dreams, and of him staring at her in the mirror with blood dripping down his chin, filled her head."
Water (Pg. 71) "Suddenly the sound of water trickling nearby filled her senses."
Knife (Pg. 242) "The man looked at the woman sitting beside him, 'Get me a knife.'"

All you need to do is write a review and say we can use this....It will bring you current....you will be all caught up.....and go back to reading other books for this challenge-such as your source of light book which is due this week.....PLEASE do this for us?

I think you can gauge that we are getting a tad frustrated, right? Do you understand where your teammates are coming from?

But Fair enough. I think Sunday as a deadline for you to be all caught up in both your Graveyard book AND your Source of Light book is acceptable.
