The James Swain books look like I might like to read them. Do they need to be read in sequence, like the "Tony Valentine series?"
Thanks in advance...

Not really, but it's probably a good idea, as there is significant character development throughout the series, especially between Tony and his son.

Read them all and I agree with Bob about Tony and son. Great reads, for me. Loved them all and learned a lot, too.

James Swain is like Michael Connelly especially his Jack Carpenter series. Love it. I started my first Tony Valentine book but prefer the Jack Carpenter character. Highly recommended.
