What actor do you picture as Quinn??

Yeah that's who I picture in the books, but if we are talking about the show...we need someone EXTRA hot..and I seriously think if Jason Momoa shaved his head, he would be the new show hunk...even more than Alcide's Joe M. when he joined the show. Plus, Jason can definitely portray someone that is used to fighting and is tough as nails....and someone that's a ''tiger'' in the bedroom ha ha

So did I! He is such a hunk. And he can definitely pull off the whole " I am Tiger, hear me roar! " attitude. Plus, he is tall and built...like Quinn. Yep. I say shave his head and stick him on True Blood lol

I think the main reason people picture Vin as Quinn is because Vin has always had a shaved head and it's easy to picture him with one. But I just don't see Vin on True Blood. I honestly don't think he's that great of an actor. Jason Momoa would make a great Quinn. If he shaved his head, he has the looks, the build of Quinn, the air of someone that doesn't take any sh*t from anyone, plus he can act and I think he would be a perfect addition to TB as Quinn. He has sort of an 'other-worldly' look and air to him anyways so that's a plus.
I agree Tabby, i love Vin but Jason Momoa is Quinn...... it's all about the eyes, but i love his hair.

There is a man at work who will always be Quinn in my mind. I was reading the book where the character is introduced while attending a weeks training with him. I think he was of Portugese descent? Totally hot, very muscle-ly, both short. Other than that he had the Quinn vibe down.
Steve Austin is big enough, and attractive and strong looking (not just body, but personality). I think he would fit the bill just fine. and if not Vin Diesel, then why not The Rock? or maybe Jason Statham. All very sexy bald actors with great builds and strong features/personalities. now i'm drooling...

OK, so I googled a little bit and Matt Damon bald caught my eye. Vin D is sexy, but he seems too much like a meathead. Not sure about this Jason Momoa guy. I think I need to read about Quinn again.

Closest I could find to the Quinn in my mind is Billy Zane when he was younger.
I have to agree with Jason Momoa. He would be perfect. Vin Diesel would be my second pick. I always wanted Sookie to end up with Quinn and I was so sad when she told him he needed to deal with his family. =( Here's to hoping that her final book will give us good news. Fingers are crossed.

Vin Diesel was the inspiration for Quinn according to Charlaine Harris but I have to go with Jason Momoa! yummy! :-)

I can't see Vin Diesel sleeping with Anna Paquin, but then again, I couldn't picture Eric with her either, so who knows, maybe True Blood will become faster and more furious when other shifters join the club.
Vin Diesel is the physical vision I have of Quinn but I can't see him actually in the role of Quinn. Jason Momoa is pretty hot but I can really only see him as Khal Drogo...An unknown wouldn't be a bad idea...
Vin Diesel seems perfect to me as Quinn, physically as well as personality. However, I don't think Vin would do the show. Would he? I wonder if Vin Diesel knows he's the inspiration for the Quinn character?

I would like to see a relativly unknown actor play Quinn, just to keep the mystery about Quinn alive. If a well known actor played Quinn then there would be a preceived idea about him.
On that note though, I am not so sure they will actually have a Quinn in the series, we are sort of past the point where he would come into it and they seem to be setting up for the Sookie and Eric "rematch"

Bubba shows up in damn near every book...it is TIME TO ADD HIM to the show!
I'm not sure Bubba would work in the show. I like Bubba but I just think that he'd feel wrong if they were to put him in now.
I also would like to see an unknown fill that role. Harris did say that she had Vin Diesel in mind when she wrote the part. There were some pretty hot Aussie actors in Spartacus. Maybe one of them would be good. The guy who played Gannicus was about right in my mind.
Isabelle you are correct and that is what has me hanging on hoping for a Quinn role in True Blood.
