This quote is incorrectly attributed to David O. McKay. He was actually quoting James Edward (J.E.) McCullough, Home: The Savior of Civilization [1924], 42. This is correctly noted in the written version of David O. McKay's talk, but over the years people have repeatedly attributed it incorrectly to David O. McKay.
