I perfer them to be in the 1st person from the female's POV. Help!

My personal favorite is the Immortals After Dark series by kresley Cole

It's so great. there are witches, valkarie, wolves, vampires, demons, fey.

Kresley Cole is a great writer - and REALLY funny. And hot. I'm totally hooked.

Try tairen soul by C.L. Wilson or warprize, which is tech. not "paranormal", but hints at times of a supernatural power in the tribe.

OH - just thought of another one. Shelly Larenston's ( she's also G A Aiken) shifter series. I have to have characters with a sense of humor - otherwise it just gets too boring.

Have you read this series?
Strong female central character who's a hybrid werewolf/vampire. Lots of action. And Secret, the kick ass girl, has her choice of a relationship with a werewolf and a vampire. Or a werewolf and a werewolf. Or a vampire and a vampire. In other words series evolves. Next book in the series due out in a couple weeks.

Like Brittany said, most PNR is in 3rd person POV. A lot of UF, however, is in 1st person POV. You haven't said what you've read, but you might be interested in:
