Cm Perkins | 15 comments Hi all. I have been lurking quite awhile. I am retired in Salt Lake City and spend my time reading all the books I never had time for. I recently read a book that I forgot to write down the title or author. It's about an agent with a limp who serves at the request of the president's chief-of=staff. This story was about a former politian who gave a critical speech and then disappeared. Limping guy was asked to find him. Then the governor's brother came after him and the wife of the missing speaker. HELP - anyone know what I read?? I get all my books from the library and have donated most of the ones I owned to various charities. So glad to have found this group. Thanks, Carolyn

T (twoo) Hi Carolyn! Welcome to our happy home away from home. :-)

There are a couple of places to ask for help in finding a book title, one is within this group and I think this link might take you there (Book Hunting and Recommendations):

http://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_...

There's another whole group outside of the Mystery, Crime & Thriller Group that totally revolves around missing titles (What's the Name of That Book, http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/185 )

Some of us find it fun to guess at keywords and try googling for the book in question....Yep, we can be funny that way....

Hope you enjoy your time prowling around here!

Welcome Carolyn. I'm sure someone here will know the title. Our members love a challenge!

Hi Carolyn, welcome. Your book rings a very faint bell, but I'm afraid that's it. Good luck!

Cm Perkins | 15 comments Thanks for all the good words - sorry my post was repeated so often. Just making up for lost time I suppose. I'll try to keep it simple from now on.
