Agatha Christie works out really well for the indigo task because so many of her books were written before 1960. I love her books!

Judy, I am new and have never done a toppler. Is this a 24 hour deal? Are you doing Asia?Seems like I read that somewhere. I want to read Anna Karenina for a book of 900 or more pages. (I think.) I feel pretty confident that I can read it in 24 hours. However, if there is something else you want me to do for the team, I am all set.

I can't figure out if checking in on Connie's rainbow should be motivating, or just make me envious.

I have never done a toppler before, so I'm not sure what to expect.

Oh, but I had to stay up 24 hours and read, read, read to get that total. I had to work for it. I do pretty good in a month, but part of that is I get to listen to books between 4 and 7 hours a day at work :)

Are you a librarian? That is so neat that you get to listen to books at work! I am so visual that I have never gotten into audio books, I do wish they worked like print for me since it would be such a nice change.

I am worried about my endurance for 24 hours. That is a long time to stay awake and read. Maybe if I keep the tea brewing, that will help. ; )

I read Hawaii a long time ago. It was worth the long investment. Great historical fiction.

I'm considering reading for the 3 or 4 time The Stand by Stephen King. It's over 900 pages, and has a indigo version that would work for my rainbow, orginally published before 1980.

My biggest problem is that all I really want to read are orange books. However, I'd also like to make some good points for my Toppler team. Decisions, decisions, decisions....

Which team are you on, Debra? North America? Is Lonesome Dove something you might want to read? I thought about rereading it. I am not sure if the cover is yellow or orange. Of course, the first edition is yellow, but I don't know what the second one would qualify as. I guess it would not work.
