Actually, I had surgery Monday, so I have not read until yesterday. Something about pain and pain meds does not work well with reading. I am just posting some books I had finished before my surgery. I am taking it slow and just getting ready for the toppler. I have to get all my teas, smoothies, diy, and books together! Gophering time! ; )

I understand about pain meds/pain not helping with reading. I had surgery recently and didn't get much reading done. I'm still going slower than usual.

Definitely getting ready for the Toppler. Got to make my gopher piles, too.

Yes, I can tell my tail feathers are dragging. I guess yours are, too. I told my husband that I used to bounce back much quicker!! I get frustrated when it takes longer to rebound from surgery than I want it to. I hope you will be back to 100% soon.

Gosh! We only have Saturday and part of Sunday to prepare for the toppler!! Oh dear!!

I'm afraid I might be slowing down again soon. Unfortunately, I have just found out I have Lymphoma (hence the surgery I had recently to remove a lymph node). It will help if all my friends here can keep me in their thoughts. Meeting with doctor on Wed to find out the next steps.

Debra, I am praying for you and sending as many good thoughts your way as I can! It is very important for you to stay positive. Keep your spirits up! You can and will make it through this difficult time! My thoughts are with you, my friend.

ABSOLUTELY JOHNNY WILL MAKE IT ALL BETTER!! And just to prove to you girls exactly how much compassion I have and how unselfish I am, I won't even raise a stink about you borrowing my boyfriend and best friend! Debra, I told Johnny that you would very much appreciate an all over body massage. You will love it, I'm sure, as his hands are very warm and very strong! :)

I've been on 32 oz or more green smoothies for a week now. Plan on making them part of my daily diet for years to come. Hope I don't get sick of them.

Oh, Debra, darling! I am thinking of you every day and sending good wishes your way! Do you feel the good vibrations yet? : ) Many, many warm hugs coming your way. Just cuddle with Lucy and take care of yourself (or Almeta will spank you!) I know from experience that if you have really great doctors and take it just one day at a time; you can get through really difficult medical hurdles. I know you are a tough bird, so hang in there!
