Eclipse
question
decribe the twilight saga in just 1 word?
Marmite.
Because you either love it or hate it.

Heroin (mind you, not "Heroine," heroin, because it is that addictive)
PROFITABLE.
LOL Seriously, say what you will about it but Meyers made a FORTUNE off these books.

Repugnant.
So many things made me dislike the books, like how sensitive, spineless, and over-dramatic our damsel-in-distress Bella was, the atrociously written "enigma" that is Edward, etc. The overall plot line was poorly thought out and doesn't deserve the credit it's been given.

I guess I had a different point of view of these books because I was reading them with my then 18-year-old daughter. The genre was new to me, and I found it to be enjoyable. My daughter and I had a good time reading the "Saga" together and having spirited discussions about who Bella should choose...Jacob or Edward...I was all for Jacob.
um wow. I loved the movies. I think they rock. You know there is actully a theory on why people hate Twilight. The theory is that they are honestly jelous of the true love that Bella and Edward share and they themselves belive that they can never acheive that sort of bond.
My one word?
Amazing

Amazing
"Overvalued"
...or a synonymous word. I read the series, and wasn't that impressed, but it was still interesting enough to finish. It's romance meant for young adults and there are very many books like it.
Thing is, those other books are read by thousands instead of millions, yet this series gets all the attention, either by hating it, loving it, and people jumping on either bandwagon. I believe it belongs with the rest of the books of it's genre.
In short, it wasn't great, but it wasn't that bad. It just receives too much attention.

Different.
The Twilight Saga was so BORING. But for some reason I bought all of the books and read them all. Including the Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. I think reading the first Twilight book possessed me to read the others. I don't know. It was really weird.
