Yes! I have the The Hound of the Baskervilles graphic novel. Very cool. I got it from my Sherlock Holmes-loving reading teacher. :)

So Elementary premiered a couple days ago, didn't it? Anyone see it?

message 63: by Krystal (new)

Krystal It is really fast paced, I think I need to watch more episodes before I know if I like it or not.

Just thought I'd announce my semi-happiness that there are three new episodes of BBC: Sherlock available for streaming on Netflix! :) (For those of you fellas who have dinosaur computers that make it nearly impossible to enjoy watching anything on the computer... ;) }

Ian (traveller1) | 33 comments Logic and Holmes. Anyone know of a good analysis of the quality of the logical reasoning, and faults, in the Holmes stories?

message 68: by Krystal (new)

Krystal Ian are you talking about books that analysis the Holmes stories.

I wish you could see the writing better. The far right is most certainly Cumberbatch-Sherlock, and I think far right is. Downey. I dunno about the other two, though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't exceptionordinarily from Clarice Bean?

message 85: by Emily (new)

Emily (emilydodd221) I love BBC Sherlock, I'm obsessed. Elementary shows here on Wednesday, I have been patiently waiting for it to show for a while, but I don't think it will be anywhere near as good as Sherlock.

I have the same opinion. Low expectations for Elementary, and reluctant to watch it. Yet I feel like a should, because I'm a Sherlockian, and it's what we do.

message 88: by Emily (new)

Emily (emilydodd221) Exactomondo! And it is SUCH a rip off of Sherlock, they even copied the font. They just made Watson a girl to make it their own.

Emily (emilydodd221) Sorry to ruin the conversation, but I figured we're all Sherlock fans here, so I'm just gonna advertise my group :)
Just a fun group to discuss the books, movies, TV series, characters and just recently, a roleplay discussion. Even if you don't join, just have a look. It's a new group, so there's not many members, but I'm hoping to change that :)

Hannah | 17 comments hey all :) I'm pretty much addicted to Sherlock Holmes! I've actually read every story I know exists. I also love the BBC Sherlock!! I like talking to people who enjoy Sherlock and Watson as much as I do :D anyone have a favorite quote from the books??

message 99: by Emily (new)

Emily (emilydodd221) "Elementary, my dear Watson."
and
"Mr Holmes, they were the footprints of a gigantic hound!"

Yay! A fellow Sherlockian :) Are you a Wholockian or just a Sherlockian?

message 100: by [deleted user] (new)

Is it weird that I read my Sherlock in a British accent? Well atleast they sounded better in my head than me readin it aloud. Haha.
