Thanks to Lisarenee for the heads up, I hadn't noticed this section somehow! What is my blog about? Well, it's about words, any kind of words! Mostly I post my own writing, fiction and nonfiction, and update my writerly amibitions. But since that wasn't keeping the blog busy enough, I am focusing on other types of words I love, the books I read, the movies I watch, maybe even the television I follow. We'll see what it becomes, I hope you'll check it out and join me!

Hi Lisarenee! Thanks for checking it out! As far as I know you have to be a wordpress member to follow a blog or like a blog post. Once logged in there will be a bar along the top that presents you options to like a particular post or follow the blog. Unless I'm missing it on their site, that's the only way to follow except just adding the blog to favorite links and checking back often.

ETA: Scratch that, you can sign up to just receive email updates to my blog without actually being a member. For convenience I added the button to the sidebar.

I followed via email, Stefani. Will comment on your review of Partials once I finish some things up here at home.

I don't have a twitter, I've never really seen a need for one....don't have a facebook either actually lol. I always figured it would just be one more thing I don't have time for. Now when I'm a rich and famous author that's a different story!

I recently got one. I just follow my favorite authors and bloggers (it's great for knowing what's going on). Not even my RL friends know I have one.

Hey Laura! Thanks for the vote! It seems the overwhelming majority prefer the new layout, it's much more eye catching I think.

New post announcing an upcoming book tour! I can't comment yet, since I'm not done with the book, but check out the other blogs if you wish because so far it seems like a good one. By date for the tour is the 11th.

Just posted the review of Glow. Somehow while writing it, my review went from 2 stars....to 1.

Whoa. Stefani. Harsh, but great review. Totally agree with you on so many points (not about the book, as I haven't read it). Such a shame this was a dud.

I tried really hard to be fair, but it just wasn't possible lol. I think because I was looking forward to it so much that it made me angrier when it was disappointing.

But on the plus side all this YA with horrid characters is making me rethink writing YA myself. Always I've strived for an older audience, but YA needs some help!

Yes, I've had that happen when I was really looking forward to a book, Stefani. I remember once buying an auto-buy author's latest in hardcover. I actually held the book to by chest and squeezed b/c I was so happy to finally have it in my hands. Big disappointment. I think I was harder in the review b/c of that. **sigh**

I hate disappointments, so I re-read one of my personal favorites to ease the pain lol.
