This book is already added to Good Reads, it just doesn't have an e-book. Is that okay?

I still need:
A publish date
A link to a cover on a non-bookseller site.

Nevermind, lafon حمزة has got it. ;)
Okay.
How do you add ebooks, by the way?

Assuming you're talking about adding the record of an ebook, it's the same as adding any other book. You just select "ebook" or "Kindle edition" as the format.
(Or were you talking about adding an ebook to a record?)
I was talking about adding an ebook to a record :P

On the edit page, click "upload an e-book". You'll get a pop-up reminding you to upload it to the specific edition it corresponds to. If you select "ok", you'll get to the page where you can upload an ebook file of several different formats.
Of course, the most important part of the whole process is to make absolutely sure you're legally permitted to upload a particular ebook. ;)

So an already existing edition having an ebook uploaded so it can be read?
If that's the case first you need to have license (under copyright law) to upload the file. So that means that you are either the owner of the piece or the work is in the public domain. Second I believe that you have to be the Goodreads author of that particular work, or a librarian.

You cannot use Google searches and then "whatever picture you want". Each of the image results comes from a specific site, and many cannot be used for cover images, because they are booksellers.

Adding illegal ebooks, or ebooks you do not own the rights to (and which are still in copyright) will get one's librarian privileges removed, so do be careful about this.

Oh, yes. I am not a proponent of this. I will bold the part of my post that was dealing with permission of being able to upload a book.
