Wyndslash | 5 comments Hello! I think the books in the 87th Precinct series by Ed McBain is numbered incorrectly here in GR? At least, I noticed it when I wanted to read the 3rd book and found a page on amazon where it was listed chronologically, and I noticed it was not the same here on GR.

The link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html...

although that list on Amazon lists only 36 books in the series...

Tntexas | 404 comments And here is a list of the order in which they were published. It appears to be a little different than the one on Amazon. I haven't compared either one to how they're listed here at Goodreads; just thought I'd throw that bit of information into the ring.

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments I did some of the initial work on this series, and it looks like someone else has continued working on it. I'm afraid I don't remember which sources I used for the series order, although I do remember that they weren't very definitive. That Amazon list is incomplete, though; it has only 36 books of the 55 book series.

(This is the GR series, for other librarians wanting to take a look.)

In case anyone's wondering, the list I linked to does have them all. I was curious myself so I went back and counted them.
