I loved Season 1, esp Drogo & Dany. Absolutely hate Joffrey - want to kill him with my bare hands. Jaimie is despicable but Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is delectable, love watching him. :)

I stopped watching Season 2 because things were getting so dire with no hope of any happy ending. And Joffrey was really getting on my nerves!

I'm only a few episodes into this series and it has a lot of potential. I have been distracted by the queen's brother-- he looked so familiar. Then I realized that he reminded me of Prince Charming on Shrek2, just not animated.:)

Season 2 was very good. It was a bit more bloody and gross, but some great moments. You should check it out, Zee.

I watched Season 2 until the ep where (sorry I dunno how to add the spoiler tag) Dany's dragons go missing, and Bran is escaping Winterfell. I think Ep 6 or 7 in Season 2.

Game of Thrones is one of my favorites. I agree with you all, Joffery is horrible. They are doing an great job making you hate him and his mother is really nuts. I don't think that Jaimie is that bad. He seems to be all about self preservation and who can blame him for that in the family he comes from. Although his love for is sister is pretty icky. Love Rob. He seems to be very similar to his father as far as honor and stuff goes. Tyrion is my favorite through. He is so sharp, really, really smart.

I admit I can't get pass the sister/lover angle when it comes to Jamie. Also he is so unscrupulous and amoral it creeps me out. I cannot stand Cersei!

Yeah...the brother/sister love is pretty horrible. Cersei is definately off her rocker.

The incestuous angle is totally creepy, esp when you see what they did to Bran. And Cersei is a total b*tch!

I love Game of Thrones. I have read all the books before the show came out. The show follows so closely to the books that if you have watched season one you really don't need to read the 1st book. Even the dialogue is exactly the same. I have to admit though that I had trouble watching season two because I knew when all the gross and violent parts were coming and its a lot harder to watch on tv than it is to read in a book. But I'm glad I stuck to it. Well worth finishing.

Yes, brother/sister love is pretty bad....Unless of course Selena Kitt writes it...then it's disturbingly hot.

Laura, I did a lot of looking away in season two! My mom had watched the really violent episode first and warned me not to watch some scenes since she knows I don't like graphic violent scenes.

Lady Danielle, I think I spent most the second series looking at my hands than the tv. I have a feeling the next series are going to be even more violent.
