Betsy | 8 comments I read Anna Karenina years ago, and see that a new movie is coming out later this year. I thought I'd listen to the audio version now to refresh my memory before the movie comes out. However, I'm just overwhelmed by the number of different versions on Audible, all by different readers. Can someone make a recommendation? Thanks!

♪ Kim N (crossreactivity) I have the version narrated by David Horovitch and it is excellent - 2 credits at audible but really worth it.

Betsy | 8 comments I just looked at the reviews for this version, and I'm sure its a good pick. Probably my next audible. Thank you so much!

Jeanie | 4024 comments I listened to this one by Nadia May--three times. I'm not sure if her narration is the best, but it certainly didn't get in the way of the writing and I really liked it. I haven't heard any of the others.

Chrissie | 1529 comments Gardens of Water: A Novel, unabridged, is available with two different narrators at Audible. Should I choose Mark Bramhall or Steven Pacey? Could someone help me choose? I have never listened to Steven Pacey narrate, but I thought his sounded better in the sample. Thanks in advance!

MissSusie | 2421 comments Think I will be getting the Davina Porter version of Anna Karenina you just can't go wrong with Davina!

Regan | 138 comments I've had a couple of books by Mark Bramhall and I don't really like his style. It's a little flat for me.

Chrissie | 1529 comments Reagan and others, have any of you listened to Steven Pacey? I remember your saying that about Bramhall!

Chrissie, Steven Pacey narrates the Simon Serrailler series by Susan Hill and does an excellent job.

Chrissie | 1529 comments Carol, thanks! I am going to choose him. His voice has more "umph".
