Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments Certainly not all of these sites can be used for book descriptions here on GR, if that's how you intended this resource list to be used. I checked several of the study guide links here and they all had copyright notices forbidding reproduction of the material without permission.

Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments I also don't think that spark notes, cliff notes and study guides should be used as a book's description.

A description is like a teaser trailer for a book, a summary is likely to be filled with spoilers and should not be used.

Kim | 607 comments Just like I posted in your other "resource" thread this information should be obtained from the author or publishers site.

Nate, your enthusiasm is great. But you keep posting things as though they were definitive, and they are not. In fact, some of them are quite problematic.

Kim, you can also obtain information from libraries and fan sites if the material has explicit permission for reuse. I have a handful of comics wikis and forums that I often use as resources for comics trades -- comics publishers are notorious for not keeping up information on out of print books. :( Publishers or authors are the best resource, but not the only one!
