So I'm finishing up the last book in the Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane - Excellent!

I hate finishing a good series though, because it's hard to find another one that doen't fall flat in comparison.

Any suggestions on what to read next? I would love to fall in love with a new series :) OH and please make sure the main couple are the same throughout the books please.

Thanks Fani - I've actually read the first two Sabina Kane books - do they get better after that? I wasn't too impressed with the first two.

I'm reading the new Jeaniene Frost book about Vlad right now and am loving it. Damn he's hott!

Andrea, I'm pretty sure I've read Succubus Blues, but not Storm Born

I love all three of Richelle Mead's series. She's great at getting a range of emotions out of me. Both the books I mentioned above are first books in a series if you enjoyed the succubus book, they only get better and there are 5 more. but if you didn't like it, you may not like storm born either.

Actually, I've only read the first two myself but unlike you, I loved them:) They do say they get better later, but if you're not impressed already I'd give up if I were you.

I've read most of the books in the Women of the Otherworld series, I only have a few to go, and I really love them. Some of the books in the series aren't as good as the others, in my opinion, my favourites would have to be books 1,2,8 and 10 so far. The changing in the narrators takes time to get used to but I'd definitely recommend reading them.

I'd also recommend the Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead, that series makes you go through so many emotions, some good, some bad but I think it's a great series.

Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson novels are great!!! The first one is Moon Called and I think there are 6 books total they there is a spin off called Alpha and Omega and the first book is called Cry wolf. I would have to say they are some of the best book I have ever picked up. A few others I like are Karen Maclinerney's Tales of an urban werewolf and Keri Arthur's Riley Jenson guardin series and its spin off A dark angels novel and there is always Cassandra Clare's The mortal instrument series. Have you read the Hunger games books?? They are really good.

Tessa! I love the Mercy Thompson books. I've read Riley Jenson, as well as The Hunger Games and the Mortal Instruments :)

I have not however, read the Spin off Alpha and Omega. Do you know how many books will be in the series? I like it best if most or all of them are out :)

Well, I'm a little discouraged, I went to buy Stormborn from Amazon (for my kindle) and it's currently not available... weird...

I'd recommend Ilona Andrews' books, namely the Kate Daniels series, and the On The Edge series.

Both excellent series with romance, intriguing paranormal, and lots of action and overall interesting plots.

No problem! The other series is great; it focuses more on the world, rather than one set of characters. Each book has different main characters with brief appearances from the main characters of the other books. It's interesting how Ilona Andrews ties it together. :)
